Seen, the entertaining and informative show hosted by Mr. Ahmad Al Shugairi, highlighted the importance of modern technologies in driving a healthy lifestyle.

During the show, which airs every night on MBC 1 channel, Mr. Al Shugairi shared insights on how technology can drive physical activity and help improve people’s health and reduce the risk of developing several chronic diseases. Participating in physical activities forms part of the Saudi Vision 2030 Quality of Life program.
Mr. Al Shugairi further shared various sporting activities in the Kingdom that cater to individual and sports groups and how people can be part of these health and fitness initiatives. One of the growing sporting activities in the Kingdom includes Hockey, which is witnessing good participation in Jeddah.
Cricket is also seeing significant growth and is one of the most popular sporting activities for expatriates in the Kingdom. Cricket forms part of SFA’s initiatives to support various sporting activities for different members of the society in the Kingdom. To further drive participation in Cricket, the Saudi Sports For All Federation recently partnered with the Saudi Cricket Federation to launch the National Cricket Championship, which included more than 6,800 players, 369 teams, and 15 cricket organizations.

During the show, Mr. Al Shugairi further spoke about the SFA App and its role in helping community members participate in health and fitness activities. The SFA App is part of the Federation’s wider digitization strategy, facilitating community-level sports participation through technology.
With gamification at its core, SFA Rewards allows users to collect points by performing various activities on the SFA App. The SFA App caters to individuals of all categories, genders, and ages to live an active, healthy lifestyle, helping the Kingdom to become the beacon of health, fitness, and well-being in the world.
SFA App also includes a fitness tracking tool, allowing individuals to track their steps, fitness goals, and physical activity by linking it to fitness devices such as Apple Watch, Google Fit, and FitBit. People can also use the SFA App to review upcoming events and get healthy tips and notifications via their smartphones.
Supported by the Ministry of Sports, the Saudi Sports for All Federation’s mandate is to increase regular participation in physical activity to 40 percent by 2030, a key objective of Vision 2030’s Quality of Life program.
